From Melrose to Kirkwall, Portree to Kirkcaldy, 72 venues across Scotland have received a total of £2.2million through the Scottish Government’s Grassroots Music Venues Stabilisation Fund through Creative Scotland. 

Details are announced today of the first two funds of a £3million Scottish Government emergency funding package designed to ensure creative opportunities for children and young people continue across Scotland in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eden Court and An Lanntair are amongst twenty venues to have received support from the first strand of the Scottish Government’s £12.5m Performing Arts Venues Relief Fund, through Creative Scotland.

Performing arts venues across Glasgow - The Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA), The Citizens Theatre, Platform, Tramway and Tron Theatre - have received a total of over £1.4m through the first strand of the Scottish Government’s Performing Arts Venues Relief Fund. 

Beacon Arts Centre has received £114,000 from the Scottish Government's Performing Arts Venues Relief Fund.

Comar, the arts organisation formed by An Tobar & Mull Theatre, has received £119,000 from the Scottish Government's Performing Arts Venues Relief Fund.

Horsecross Arts has received £749,000, and Pitlochry Festival Theatre £425,000 from the Scottish Government's Performing Arts Venues Relief Fund. 

Shetland Arts Development Agency has received £247,582 from the Scottish Government’s Performing Arts Venues Relief Fund.
